The Barnsdale, Rutland, impresses guests with its beautiful property, inside and out, and its proximity to Oakham and attractions on the north side of RW. Room 44 is frequently mentioned as spacious and comfortable, although some guests have found other rooms to be quite small. Acceptable Stay with Some Issues

convenient accessfaulty shower headlack of cleaning
The location provided convenient access to nearby attractions.
The room I stayed in had a couple of issues. The shower head did not stay in place, made showering difficult. I also noticed some cobwebs and dust around the room, indicating a lack of thorough cleaning.

The location proved convenient for exploring Rutland Water. I appreciated the ample parking available. The new spa area looks very inviting with its outdoor pool, sauna and hot tub (i look forward to using it).
The extractor fan in the bathroom wasn't working, resulting in a hot and damp environment.
